Winter wedding

Picture the scene; instead of your wedding car getting stuck in traffic, a reindeer sledge crunches through the fresh snow to pick you up from your log cabin. The log fire is crackling while you put on your wedding dress and your bridesmaids help you outside to be seated together in the sleigh. A warm stole is wrapped around your neck and you begin your journey to the ice chapel. Wedding Candles have been specially prepared to light the way in the arctic dusk.

People choose to have a winter wedding for many reasons. The most popular reasons we hear in the Travelbee offices are to enable a special date with personal significance to be chosen. There are also may who wish to fit in with Christmas holidays or half term plans. Whatever your own reason, if you are going to go for a winter wedding then why not consider a “real” winter wedding; snow covered log cabins, roaring fires, reindeer sledges, we really can offer you that kind of winter wedding wonderland.

All our winter wedding couples will be provided with their own dedicated wedding planner to assist you with the details and ensure the wedding destination, reception and caterers are most suitable for your requirements. If you have children in your party then you can combine a winter wedding with a visit to Father Christmas, you don’t even need to have children! Each of our wedding venues have their own specialities and, with a little tailoring, our packages can meet all needs; whether you want to do a little skiing, take a husky safari into the wilderness, enjoy the northern lights, stay in a log cabin, have a hot tub or other specific wedding ideas then we have a winter wedding plan that will cater for you.
